Conan passes the Late Night Crown

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon? Yep, that's right. Fallon was hand picked by NBC to take Conan's. NBC won't give us a date of when the change will be happening but we've heard rumors it will take place around early 2009. I'm happy, however, that Conan will be take over The Tonight Show and Jay Leno will be OFF THE AIR! Thank your god for that one! I never liked his show. Hopefully Conan will bring his own act to the show. As for Fallon, I don't know how I feel about the guy. I didn't like him in any of his movies and he was hit-and-miss on SNL. I have heard his stand up, and he can do some mean impressions!

So, how will he match up with Conan, the late night king?

"I'm going to dye my hair red and get lifts in my shoes," Fallon told reporters today during a news conference on the top floor of 30 Rockefeller Center, which offered panoramic views of rain-drenched Manhattan (visible after an interminable wait for the elevators).

He's obviously funny, and has proved that at certain times (Idiot Boyfriend music video? eh?).

"I think he's just built for it," said executive producer Lorne Michaels. "He's really funny and he's smart, and he has a really, really good work ethic. You can't do this kind of show if there is any confusion about what you really want to be doing. You have to what this more than everything else, and he does."

I'm glad our hero won't be leaving the air. Let's just hope I can be as dirty as he was on late night?

Tim and Eric LIVE!

(Me with Tim after the show)

I finally met them!

That's right. I saw Tim and Eric live in San Francisco on May 4th. It was worth FAR more money that 17 dollars to see this show. I don't wanna give much away about the show because it's all about the surprises. Here's a few things I will tell you: It's full of vomit, giant balls, papa johns, the whole regular cast performing live, DJ Dougpound opens, season 3 footage, and they totally came out for meet and greet after the show. It was at least an hour and a half show. I really enjoyed myself the whole time. I got on stage too! Go see them if you get a chance!
