Mastermind Mel Brooks is at it again. Spaceballs the animated series has been talked about since around 2004 and now it's finally going to happen! June 1st, 2008, G4 will start airing the first 13 episodes of the series. Mel Brooks will not only be directing and writing the film, but will also be providing his voice for the roles of President Skroob and Yogurt. The very same characters he played in the original 1987 film. Daphne Zuniga and Joan Rivers will also reprise their roles from the film, although Bill Pullman will not. Tino Insana will replace the late John Candy as "Barf." That's all the info I could pull up as of now. I'll probably update you with a new post as soon has I get more info.

"Young Frankenstein" by Mel Brooks. First off, if you don't know who Mel Brooks is, IMDB that noise! He's the mastermind behind films like Blazing Saddles, Robinhood: Men In Tights, and Spaceballs. It's a film staring Gene Wilder as Dr. Frankenstein, spoofing (mostly) the film Son Of Frankenstein. It's really funny and well scripted. When I watched it for the first time when I was little I thought it was really from the 30's like the original! I really love this film. It's probably my favorite movie of all time. Also check out Dracula: Dead and Loving it! It was an underrated Brooks film from the 90's that was actually more accurate to the original Dracula than any other film in history!
